Name: Paris Rosiers
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Personality: Cold and distant at first, often lost in his own thoughts or daydreaming (seemingly). Has a passion for learning and picking apart the world around him. Tends to clam up unless something sparks his interest.
History: Saffron City was quite the place to grow up in. Paris grew up as the youngest son of the Vice President of Silph Co. under his two older brothers, and competition in the family was fierce. The eldest, Lawrence, was a shoe-in to inherit the family business; the middle, Kevin, made a name for himself at the dojo. Paris was left clinging to straws to stand out, and often he found himself still lost in the shadow of his brothers.
With a strong mind and too much free time, he devoted himself to learning about the other parts of the world hidden in shadow, especially those of Pokémon. The tales of the legendary Mew - and especially of the fabled "Mewtwo" conspiracy - drove him to pressure his parents to let him become a Pokémon trainer. But no - Too risky, and the family had a reputation to uphold. So he stuck to books and computers, learning all about an art he could not experience for himself.
Recently the Rosiers family has transferred to Kyozon to manage the branch of Silph Co. in the region, and Paris is having to get used to small-town life... but the safer area and the lack of a reputation to keep up in the new land is also Paris's chance to finally dip his feet in the world of Pokémon training. Time to acquaint himself with Professor Willow...
Character Description: 5'10". Thin; a scholar's build. Black hair to his chin, framed around his face, with a dyed white streak on one side. Silver rectangular glasses that frame grey-blue eyes. Light olive skin; tends to dress in monotones. Has an emotional affinity with some Pokémon (though this is very rare, and IC he doesn't know it yet).
