"I've heard," Saarda said to her dog pokemon, "That this cave is filled to the brim with adorable fluffy little pokemon!" A slight weight on her head confirmed that her new Pikachu was still sitting on her head, "What do you think of that Pika?"
"Pika chu chu Ka pika."
"Yes, you are adorable fluffy and little, but you weren't in this cave before I was." Saarda said, assuming that that was what Pikachu was saying.
"Growlithe!" He barked as he trotted before her, whirling around and looking up at the small electric rat on Saarda's head.
"Pika?"
"Grow."
"Houn!"
"Yes, I do think the cave has promise, though I don't think its filled to the brim, exactly." She looked around, "I haven't seen a single wild pokemon yet!"
Houndour looked up at Saarda and shook his head. Sometimes she seemed able to perfectly comprehend them, others, she was completely off the mark.

Just as Saarda said she hadn’t seen any wild pokemon, a bright eyed little pink ball of fluff danced out to meet her. “Happiny!” it called holding up round white stone.
“Oh how cute are you!” Saarda exclaimed, “See I told you; cute fluffy things.”
Pika shrugged, rather indifferently, then she jumped off Saarda’s shoulder, landing with skill on the ground. She walked over to the Happiny, who was looking at them all with a grin. She was proud of her little white stone. Pikachu trotted over to Happiny who showed off the pretty white stone with a grin. Pika batted it away with her tail. “Chu.” She said. The stone danced away into the dark. “Chu.” Pika said then she darted off and grabbed the stone. “Pikaaa.” She held it out to Happiny who happily trotted back and went to take it, but Pika threw it over the little pokemon’s head. “Chaaa!”
Happiny stretched up and tried to take it from the air, but it flew too high, and skipped right over her. “Happ.” She whimpered, running off to try and catch it, but Pika darted around her and snatched the white rock before Happiny could get to it. She then threw it right over the little pink pokemon again. Saarda frowned.
“Pika, stop that!” She said rushing to where the stone had fallen. Happiny started wailing then as Saarda picked it up. “Hey, hey, little miss.” Saarda said, kneeling before the little pink pokemon, “Sweety, don’t cry.” She patted happiny on the head, “I have it here.” She placed the stone in its hands. “Here ya go.” She said, stroking Happiny, who hiccoughed, a bit and hugged her stone, frowning furiously. “There.” She said, backing away. Happiny glared at Pika who grinned and hid behind Saarda.
Emery suddenly barked, and Happiny squealed, running away. “Bye, little gal!” Saarda waved. “Now, Emery, what are you looking at?” She asked turning to the fire type. “What is it, boy?”
Emery whirled around in circles then bounded off in a seemingly random direction. The dogs looked at her, and little Pika suddenly leaped up and climbed her trainer enthusiastically. Saarda stumbled and looked at her Pikachu incrediously, “What is up with you, Pika?”
Pikachu looked around in a way which might have been called innocent on anyone or anything other than that Pikachu. “What did you do?
“Chaaaa?”
“Don’t give me that. What did you do?”
Pikachu handed Saarda something. “You stole Happiny’s stone?” She covered her eyes, “You are a naughty girl.”
“Pika pi.” She chuckled.
“I do not agree. That was not amusing.”
“Pika chu!”
“No. Return it.” Pikachu lifted her arms and climbed up onto Saarda’s head. “Naughty little mouse!” She muttered, “Happiny, I have your-“ A sudden cry. “Yeah. That’s your doing.” She said pointing at the electric mouse on her head. “Happiny, I will leave your stone here!” She said, setting it down and rushing off after her Growlithe, who, as she started rushing, whined sharply. “EMERY?” She shouted. “Crud, “Emery? Shadow? RETURN!” She shouted.
The pair of dogs came limping back, but before they got to her side, they posted, the fur on their backs raised. They barked and snarled. “What’s got your knickers twisted?” Saarda asked, “Emery, ember.” She said. He spat the fire into the dark, and before she could see much, it hit something. Something that squeaked.
“Oh dear… What is that?” She took out her pokedex and registered it.
’Minun, the Cheering Pokémon. Minun cares more for its teammates than for itself or its own safety, sending off showers ofsparks while cheering them on. Minun and Plusle's electrical current promotes blood circulation and energizes their target. Its dislike of water makes it take shelter under the eaves of houses in rain. It uses pom-poms made of sparks for cheering.’
“Minun!” It cringed, then sent off a spark in their direction. It missed.
“Oh…” She scratched her ear, “Boys, return. I’m going to have Trallic battle.” She threw out the fighting type. “Trallic, hit the Minun with a pound.” Trallic nodded, then rushed forward and smacked the little electric type with its piece of timber. It hit, but the damage was minimal. Minum stumbled back, sparks flying off of its body, then it turned and attacked so quickly, that by the time she noticed it had attacked, the minun was already retreating. “Bide!” It attacked again, and Trallic endured two more hits, before it shrugged off the small pokemon, which was tiring itself out, before striking back and making minun fly into a cave wall. It fell to the ground with a squeak, tried to get up and wobbled dizzily on its feet. “Alright, one more pound.” Trallic obeyed, sending the blue and cream colored mouse sprawling. “Return but be ready.” She said, throwing a pokeball. “Hope this works…” She said, as the ball pulled the pokemon in, and the red blinking light flickered…
