Koga had heard of a rare fish who'd been spotted in the lake. With his new Nidoran and Magnemite he started looking around at the variety of pokemon. Nidoran had started to dooze off while the magnemite was taunting pokemon around. Koga however wanted to see what all the fuss was about with this "Rare" pokemon in the lake. He took off his shirt and pulled out a pair of shorts from his backpack sliding them on. Being born on an island he'd been used to swimming in heavy currents and his body was sustainable for quite some time. He jumped into the water and began swimming trying to peer under the top of the lake and see as deep as he could. If there was anything he'd probably be deep in the water or constantly moving. Taking a deep breath he then dove deep into the water, pushing himself further and further down, passing all sorts of pokemon on the way. A school of Magicarp passed bye as did a small group of goldeen. He was hoping to see something new before heading back to the surface.

Not being able to see the special Pokemon of the lake he grabbed onto the side of a magikarp as it passed by. The magikarp was frantic at the fact he'd just been grabbed as he began to swim away faster. Koga was hoping that he'd eventually make his way to the surface and he inevitably did. Koga tried to pull the magikarp further towards the shore so that he could have his pokemon go after it. His Nidoran sleeping however was not going to get him far. He hollered for magnemite to come aid him as he kept going back and forth keeping the magikarp from swimming back into the water. Magnemite was floating about continuously examining the fish in the shallow part of the shore as he tried to find a way that would be best to approach it. If he'd come into the water he'd surely sink due to his weight. "Mite Mite" He started to spin around the magikarp until the fish type jumped up out of the water only slightly as Magnemite quickly rushed towards it and hit him with a tackle, knocking him back into the water. Koga now unsure of what to do waited until the magikarp had jumped again. "Karp Karp" the fish had jumped out of the water trying to avoid the Magnemite but he was on his tail as Magnemite had tackled him again, this was the oportunity that Koga had been waiting for as he quickly threw his pokeball at the out of water magikarp before he'd been able to reach the water once more.

The balls shakes... Poof! The Magikarp comes free with spirit! You're still in this fight, keep trying!
You can continue RPing to catch the creature and try again, or move on. PM me if you want to try and catch it again.

Koga scoffed to himself as he began to ponder on what to do. Magnemite continued his back and forth with the fish type pokemon who had continued to stay in the water most of the time. Koga rushed to the area in which his Nidoran had fallen to sleep as he moved slowly around him and tried to wake him up. He shook the pokemon very lightly as it snored softly. He then hefted the pokemon up and slowly moved him towards the water.
Ten minutes of dragging his out cold pokemon he'd finally reached the water where he then laid the pokemon down beside it. Before rushing into the water again, he then ordered his magnemite to hit the Magikarp into the sleeping pokemon. Magnemite waited fora short time before the fish finally jumped up again. Magnemite angrily slammed into the magikarps side as he went falling to the beach. The magikarp now out of water began to flop repeatedly finally smacking the Nidoran in the face which caused him to stir a bit. Attempting to get to the water he continued to flop around hitting the Nidoran again and again until finally he'd woken up with metaphorical steam coming from his ears. He motioned likea bull scratching the ground before rushing at the Magikarp and slammed his horn into the thick side of the Magikarp sending it painfully into the water again. It had landed with a large splash as Koga had instinctively thrown his second pokeball at the now injured Pokemon in hopes it'd become more lax.

Shake, shake, shake... click! Congratulations! You have caught a Male Magikarp Level 6! Moves: Splash Traits: Adamant and Humble... Your Magikarp is incredibly motivated to succeed in whatever you have him do, and he often refuses to take credit for the great feats it may perform.

Koga in relief smiled and walked over to the floating pokeball in which the newly caught fish type was caught in. Many people had said he was a worthless pokemon but no pokemon was useless and he was certain one day he'd become more. Koga got his clothing back on and had his pokemon follow along, returning his nidoran to his pokeball (end Thread)
