Koga came back to the foothills. He landed with Skarmory and looked about as his Pokemon looked about thinking of what Pokemon it could intrigue itself with. Koga hopped down and began scouring the area as he then drew out his Pokeball in which he had his Nidoran and pulled it out casting it to the ground which in turn caused Nidoran to come out of the Pokeball. Koga smiled and looked about more. "Okay nidoran let's find us some new friends." Koga pushed through some familiar bushes in hopes that he could run into another Skarmory or something more interesting. Koga was on the track to finding new Pokemon in the new special region that connected to turnstone. Koga then sat against a tree and waited for a Pokemon that caught his interest to venture his way.
12/12 use 1 Pokeball please

Hours passed as Koga sat and watched the time go by. Especially with the bird Pokemon of the region, they were all so pretty but none seemed to strike his interest at the moment. Finally he heard a screech that sounded quite familiar. However he believed it to be his Skarmory finding something of interest to intrigue itself and time. Nidoran however knew differently. Skarmory had been gone for quite some time and the direction that the screech was coming from was the opposite direction. Nidoran took a defensive stance in sure that he could defend his master. Koga made notice of the ordeal and stood up scouting the skies hoping that he could see his own Skarmory but then a shadow passed over. Koga looked around but only saw a blur and didn't know what to think of it. Then out of the sudden shine of light came a large metal bird landing in front of them. It wasn't Skar this was a different Skarmory and looked to be a younger one at that.
Koga smiled and looked up at it. He'd heard that Skarmory weren't the most common of Pokemon nor the easiest to catch. This would prove his luck so he struck his battle pose and pointed at the new arrival in which Nidoran had already taken note of. "Alright Nidoran let's do this." Koga smiled and looked at the intimidating Skarmory now without fear. Koga dashed off into the trees as Nidoran then took a charging run right at the large bird. The bird then slammed down with her beak and right for Nidoran. However he was used to battling a Skarmory due to Skar and he dodged to the left only to jump up and double kick right into her head. Causing the Skarmory to rear back in quick pain and a quick burst of fear. Only to be met with a darting movement in attempts to hit the Nidoran before he hit the ground. In the movements however Nidoran made a quick spin to stab at her with his horn before being hit. Both of the Pokemon slid back in opposite directions from the recoil. Nidoran shook his head and scoffed as the Skarmory then regained it's composure. Nidoran then sped after the bird before it could make a reaction and as the Nidoran jumped up the Skarmory pecked downward at him.
Her beak however was met with his hind legs again as the loud sound of metal being hit could be heard and it resounded throughout the quiet woods. Which caused a responding screech from off in the distance. The Skarmory then took a few steps back flabergasted in how unnefective it's abilities were to the Nidoran as it then turned and darted off to the opening only to spread it's razor sharp wings and start off. It flew at a quick speed only to be struck with an even quicker metal ping from Skar herself. Her speed caused the enemy Skarmory to lose control and plummet to the ground at high speeds as Skar then circled above. Koga's eyes widened at the quickness of his own Pokemon before he and nidoran rushed over. They emerged on the wreckage where the Skarmory had landed and saw the wounded Skarmory just laying there. Koga pulled out a Pokeball and quickly threw it at her causing the Pokemon to become a red beam and retreat into the Pokeball. The ball hit the ground and began to shake.

Koga began walking away from the now flying off wounded Skarmory. Skar was going to take charge however Koga ordered not to so it came back down to him and landed beside. It looked down at Koga in a disapointed look as though it had failed but koga looked to here resured. "Don't worry Skar we will find something else." Koga smiled and walked into a set of bushes as a Houndoor then jumped out and tackled Koga to the ground. It seemed friendly at first before it noticed Koga's Pokemon now standing in a defensive stance. Koga stood up as the houndoor backed off and eyed his opponents. Then Skar took to the sky and circled above as Nidoran became the main target. He reared up and prepared for battle.
Koga pointed at the dog Pokemon and then spoke clearly and sternly. "Alright Nidoran let's do this!" He smiled as the Nidoran scoffed his normal scoff and started walking around the Pokemon. Finally however it moved slightly and Nidoran charged at it. The houndour then used ember and scorched the ears of Nidoran causing him to duck down. Then he darted to the opposite way and came up on the Houndour faster before finally jumping into the air and Double kicking it. Nidoran caught a glimpse of his deathly glare before the feet kick and Nidoran bounded back towards Koga ready for the reaction. The Houndour was a tad weaker then expected and winced and began to limp from the damage. Koga squinted wondering why it had been hurt so badly before he pointed again. Nidoran then darted at it once more only to be met with the familiar flames however he was expecting this time and dodged to the left before bringing his horn up into the dogs sternum and knocking it back ina yelp of pain.
Koga then ran over and looked down atthe heavy breathing Pokemon and sighed sad for it as he didn't like to hurt other Pokemon. He then tossed the ball down gingerly and hit it on the side of its chest causing it to retreat inside as the ball hit the ground and began to shake.

Koga stood up and looked down at the Pokemon who just burst out of the Pokeball who seemed to be breathing heavily. It looked at the Nidoran with a persistance look on its face as it then charged at Nidoran quite weakly but still very held high. Nidoran reacted with a scoff before jumping out of the way and turning his back to the Pokemon before looking back over it's shoulder at her. He then turned and readied himself as the heavy breathing Houndour then took another charge at him. The houndour was determined to win but as it was preparing itself for an ember attack Nidoran lifted his horn right into her side causing her to yelp in pain again and tumble down to the ground on her side once more. Breathing heavily trying to regain composure. Koga then waited for it to emerge and finally it did. Breathing heavily it started limping after the Nidoran before it finally reached it and as it swiped its paw down Nidoran was about to lift his horn up again before Koga's Pokeball hit her causing her to get sent into the ball again.
