Koga looked around at all of his Pokemon as he stood up and dusted himself off, His pants were nearly dry now but his shirt was still messy. Koga took off the shirt and tied it around his waste. The boy was in a good shape for his age as though he'd trained almost every day. As the Zigzagoon hopped up Koga's Nidoran seemed to wake up slightly looking out of the corner of his eye. "I don't know I'm not sure about my Pokemon they seem to all be busy." Though as he was talking Nidoran had stood up stretching a bit. It seemed to be aching to show the Zigzagoon a thing or two it would seem as he stretched and had a tad smirk on his face.
Koga however had still not chosen and was looking around. "Hm I... Choose... P..." As he was about to say it the Nidoran seemed to stomp on his foot which made Koga jump. "Nido, Nidoran!" Koga looked down with surprise as the Pokemon was wide awak which was unusual unless being provoked. "I guess... I choose Nidoran.." Pidgey cooed while sitting on his shoulder looking down at the purple Pokemon happy that it didn't have to fight and could stay on it's masters shoulder. Nidoran was already prepared it seemed as he seemed to take a fighting stance.

"That sounds good. I think this will be interesting." He said energetically. He looked over the Nidoran and knew Zigzagoon was in for a challenge. "So if you have any problems don't be afraid to ask I guess. Ummm... So yeah lets get started." Zigzagoon was determined as ever to show up Nidoran, a low growl coming from the pit of her throat. Galnok ran off a few meters, staying along the shore line. Zigzagoon was starteld to see her trainer had moved when she turned her head to look at him. She dashed quickly over to him taking a spot by his side in a battle stance and gave off a what was sort of a battle cry.
"Zigzagoon!"
"When ever you are ready I guess." Galnok smiled reassuringly to Koga. He was not sure how the battle would turn out. Some people had a knack for battling from the very start like he had and even experienced trainers could lose to new ones when there wasn't to much of a gap between the pokemon's strength. He had seen it happen before and truthfully he was slightly anxious.

Koga watched the little Pokemon cautiously. He imediatly began contimplating what to do and how his reaction time would help. He knew that Nidoran's speed was incredible and he had the ability to listen perfectly. However he tended to not react like he should and usually did his own thing. If it happened this time he had no idea what he would do.
"Nido..." Nidoran readied in his battle stance as it seemed his muscles began to buldge for a moment and his eyes glinted. He closed them for a split second before Zigzagoon had let out it's battle cry. It made Nidoran react with a scoff to himself before his master ordered him to make the first move.
Koga leaned down and whispered in the purple Pokemons rather large ear and the Nidoran looked up with a tad confused look. However when Koga nodded the Nidoran nodded in return. Looking back to the Zigzagoon Nidoran nodded before his feet impaled the ground before he charged towards the little Pokemon. Nidoran's speed was incredible and he was moving with such force that his feet prints could be seen with each step. He closed the distance quickly and readied his peck swinging his horn down at the Zigzagoon with high velocity reached from the fast charge he'd done.

Galnok was stunned for a brief second, impressed with the Nidorans speed. Zigzagoon was definitely going to have a hard time dodging its attacks, but it would be that much more fullfilling if they won. Instantly after seeing the Nidoran come in for the attack galnok shouted to Zigzagoon, "Dodge it by jumping over it!" She reacted just in the nick of time, Nidorans horn just barely about to make contact. After landing Zigzagoon pivoted on her front feet to face the Nidoran. "Now go for it, use Growl and then dash backwards!"
"Zigzagoooon!" The racoon pokemon yelled at the Nidoran ending with a loud growl in attempts to phase the pokemons confidence and then quickly took a long jump backwards, continuing to face Nidoran. "Great job Zigzagoon!" Galnok's fist were clenched and he had a gleam in his eyes, one that was always there when he was battling.

Nidoran spun on his heels as he closed in on Galnok right before hitting him he'd turned around angry with the fact that the Zigzagoon jumped over him. Nidoran was now hoofing at the ground and seemed to be unintimidated this time by the growl as he then Leered at the Zigzagoon before beginning his second charge. Koga's voice seemed to be unheard as he had clearly told Nidoran to move around to the water. Galnok could even hear him shout it but this time Nidoran was on the Zigzagoon as he then charged at the Zigzagoon at an even faster pace however this time he was weeving back and forth attempting to confuse the Zigzagoon

Galnok took a step back prepared to dodge the Nidoran if it wasn't able to stop itself in time. When it did he gave a quick sigh of relief. He could hear Koga was trying to give advice to Nidoran on what to do next, but the pokemon wasn't taking any of it. He shook his head knowing this could have been a problem. If Nidoran get ignoring Koga that the pokemon could possibly over do it, either with hurting Zigzagoon badly or get itself hurt.
Zigzagoon was mostly unaffected by the enraged pokemons Leer, but something did tickle the back of her mind when she saw Nidoran's glaring eyes. A small thought that something could go wrong. Galnok however was confident in the situation and had already come up with his next idea. "Zigzagoon don't try to dodge it like last time. Run away and use Tail Whip!"Zigzagoon turned and quickly started to run away from the chargin opponent, zig-zagging as it went. With each slight turn it made it made an effort to whip it's tail in a harmless, cut manner. Galnok knew that the Nidoran would easily catch up to Zizagoon with its speed and then his pokemon would finaly take a hit, but he hoped that his pokemon's Tail Whip would make the Nidoron think that she was just small cute pokemon aand it would lower its defense. Then Zigzagoon would strike.

The Nidoran closed in very quickly as the Zigzagoon started smacking it in the face with it's tail. Nidoran frequently stopped chase for a milisecond before finally he'd had enough of the tail and pecked down hard at it the next time that it would be in his face. As he did he jumped to the side as well and prepared for a charge from the side as well. It seemed the Nidoran was going to slam it's tiny horn into the little Pokemon again. Now however the two Pokemon were on the bank of the lake and the dirt had turned into mud so the ability to move was a tad slower then when the two of them were running amidst the dirt. Before the peck even started forward Nidoran finally listened to Koga as Koga was shouting. "Back off and come back to the dry land!" Nidoran nodded and jumped back a few feet before running towards the dirted area. He watched Ziggzagoon from the side waiting for it to come up as well.

The zigzagoon took pleasure in annoying the other pokemon even though it knew it was going to get hit any moment now. She yelped when she felt the Horn hit its tail. Fear of having that hron strike it somwhere else pushed it to go faster, but it was having no luck out running the Pokemon. The ground beneath was starting to feel wet. When she looked below the ground was becoming mushy. This would help alittle to slow the Nidoran down but it would slow her down as well. It would only help if she was the lighter one. She and galnok both knew it but Galnok knew that the peedy Nidroan weighed half of what Zigzagoon did. Galnok gave a sigh when Koga called back Nidoran and it fell back to dry ground once again. "Looks like he's listening again." His only hope of winning was if Zigzagoon's Tail Whip had worked in getting the Nidoran to relax on its defence.
Zigzagoon made its way back to dry ground as well, babying its sore tail. "Alright Zigzagoon, charge in with a tackle!" The little racoon pokemon yelled at another battle cry as it charge at the Nidoran. It weave in a zig-zag fashion as it charged, the manuverin coming natrually to it. It leaped into the air a bit and came down with its tackle attack.

"You're right but I only think he noticed cuz he knew I was right." Koga had shouted accrost the battle field. Nidoran was now examining the tail of the Zigzagoon as it nursed it while skimping back to his spot. He knew that the Zigzagoon could do more than it was but it was more content on hitting it as often as he could to keep it from getting to livid. Koga looked down at the Nidoran and spoke softly into his ears. "You know what to do." Nidoran nodded and reared his head up right before the Zigzagoon had taken charge. Nidoran could easily have taken charge in response but instead he waited in the same spot with himself prepared to strike. As Zigzagoon came down crashing upon him he returned the greeting with his sharp horn aimed at her chest. He knew he'd be taking a hit but so would she.
(You can use Nidoran for the reaction post)

He tried to Zigzagoon to not go for it once he saw what Nidoran had planned, but it was already to late.Galnok winced as the two pokemon collided with a loud audible thud and cry of pain from his pokemon. After hitting the Nidoran, Zigzagoon bounced off to the side and lay there in pain. She struggled to get up, but the attack on her tail had apparently poisned her and it was starting to take effect now. Nidoran didn't fair much better, but he was still standing. It was clear that Zigzagoon had lost.
Galnok ran over to Zigzagoon pulling out a Antidote from his bag and applied the medicine. "Youd did pretty good Zigzagoon." He returned the injured pokemon back to its pokeball and stood up. He didn't feel defeated even though he had clearly lost, but he still felt determined for some reason. He smiled turning to the young trainer, "Your Nidoran is great. I think you too will go far. Still some things you need to work out, but that's just what I think."

As the two Pokemon collided Nidoran had slid back against the ground a few feet from the impact due to the weight and velocity that Zigzagoon was coming at. When the two fell apart Nidoran lye there exhausted and breathing heavily looking and watching Galnok recover his Pokemon. Due to Nidoran's nature he quickly shut his eyes and began to doze off back into slumber. Koga was shocked at Nidoran's behavior as he went to his back pack and pulled out antidote and one of his many potions. He offered the antidote to Galnok as a replacement for the one he'd used on Zigzagoon.
"Here take this, it's my Pokemon's fault yours got hurt anyways." Koga's eyes were still kind in nature and seemed a tad worried that something might be wrong. Koga knew he wasn't a good trainer yet and that the Nidoran was doing it all on his own. Koga was more of a strategist than beat the other person's Pokemon down till they give up. However Nidoran was exactly that way. "Yea... I need a lot of work, especially when this one doesn't listen to me." Koga had knelt down and began to spray Nidoran while he was sleeping clearing up his wounds. "I'm sorry he got out of hand but i tried to get him to listen...." Koga seemed a tad sad saying this as it meant he wasn't a true trainer at all....

Koga smiled once more to Galnok and turned to the lake in which his Magikarp was in. He began to skip rocks repeatedly accrosst the water out of pondering. Fish seemed to chase after the rocks when they skipped accrost however which gave Koga an idea. Koga picked up a handful of rocks and made sure to get his Magikarps attention. He began to skip them past it's head until finally the shiney reflection of the water and rock caused it to take track of it and start chasing them down. Koga continued to skip rocks seeing how fast he could keep up. One at a time was simple enough and Magikarp continued to excel at speeding to each one's location as it ended. Koga smiled in disbelief but happiness as he then began to speed his motions of skipping up. The rocks were now being flung quicker one after another but giving enough time for Magikarp to keep up. Magikarps perception and ability to transcend through the water was remarkable but he knew that it wouldn't be useful in battle aside from tiring out his opponent.
Koga laughed as he picked up more rocks. Galnok must have been amused by such an idea as it was a good way to train there splashing Magikarp. After picking up multiple rocks Koga began flinging two at a time now at a kept speed right after another. Magikarp was becoming attuned to the speed and skipping distance of them and slowly started racing to both each time before making it to each one as they sunk in the water. Koga hoped that he'd be able to catch up to them before the started sinking and maybe some how get one or two before the hit the final pounce. Koga continued this repetition for a bit before the Magikarp began splashing out of the water and hitting the rocks backwards towards the shore. It was now all a game to him and he seemed to be having fun as did Koga. One day this Magikarp might prove that he is one of the best friends and Pokemon he could wish for as he continued to skip and Magikarp continued to catch. However the Magikarp and Koga became tired as Koga stopped skipping rocks and began to breath heavily a bit. Magikarp swam back up to the shore as Koga realized it was about time to leave.
Koga turned to Galnok and spoke softly. "I'm sorry friend but I must be going. I have an important meeting I must make it to and I don't want to miss it." He returned magikarp and began walking towards his camp set up and picked up his bag and started returning the rest of his Pokemon except for his Pidgey. Most of which were puckered out and laying down in multiple spread out locations. His clothes were dry now as he put the shirt back on and started stomping out the fire pit to make sure it was completely doused. Finally he pulled his backpack up and onto his shoulders with his entire mess cleaned up as he walked back to Galnok. "Hopefully I'll see you soon and we can spend some friend time together." Koga smiled and started heading off the way he'd originally came. "Oh and don't forget to practice cooking." He shouted behind him as he made it to the tree line and made way for the village.

Galnok accpeted the antidote after returning Zigzagoon to her Pokeball. "Don't worry to much about it. I'm sure the two of you will be able to work together." He could see that Koga really cared about pokemon and not just his own. He had met some new trainers in the past that had mistreated their pokemon, but he knew that Koga wouldn't have any problem at all.
He took to sitting down while watching Koga work with his magikarp. He was indeed amused by it and it even gave him some ideas on how to work with his magikarp. After awhile he laid down and took a short nap. He then sat up when he heard koga start to gather his things. "Yes, some friend time." He smiled rubbing some grim away from his eye as he responded to the comment. Zubat flew into Galnok's lap to see Koga go. She to was hoping to see Koga again. It just meant she would get another chance to cause mischieve.
